This website is currently being developed as a forum to help raise funds to aid in the fight to free Michiel Oakes from an unjust verdict in his self-defense case.

The website is currently under construction and will be updated as soon as possible. It is being launched now however, as Michiel and his family are in dire need for further funding to continue this fight for justice.  Michiel should be reunited with his beautiful children and loved ones, if justice was served this would have already been the case.When this information is complete this site will include the following:

• An overview of Michiel’s case
• Specific points brought up by prosecutors and why they are incorrect
• Actual evidence from the trial that demonstrates Mark Stover’s dangerous nature which support Michiel’s case, as well as other critical testimony that was not allowed by the judge during the trial and are valid reasons for a necessary retrial that he so deserves.

In the meantime, any and all donations are deeply appreciated as the family continues a vigorous and long fight for justice which Michiel Oakes is so worthy of. This site will have a link to Paypal for direct deposit donations, as well as an address to the banking branch for mail in donations. This will be a long and drawn out process with very high legal fees. Any donations will be so very helpful.
